Teaching With, About, and Around Generative AI ***Walk-ins Welcome*** In-Person / Online
Curious about how generative AI is reshaping higher education? This hybrid workshop invites all educators to explore strategies for teaching with generative AI as a partner, about AI as a critical topic, and around AI when boundaries or workarounds are needed. We’ll also highlight how AI tools can support the behind-the-scenes work of teaching—from drafting rubrics to streamlining communications. Whether you're just getting started or looking to deepen your approach, this session offers adaptable ideas for any discipline or teaching format. Join us to connect, experiment, and reimagine your practice in an AI-enabled world
Upon completion of this learning experience, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the affordances and limitations of generative AI tools for use in instructional, curricular, and administrative contexts
- Develop discipline-appropriate strategies for integrating, addressing, or navigating generative AI in teaching and learning environments.
