Advisor/Instructor Partnerships for Student Academic Success and Thriving in College - Session for Instructors

Advisor/Instructor Partnerships for Student Academic Success and Thriving in College - Session for Instructors Online

In this workshop we will describe examples and benefits of strong partnerships between course instructors and academic advisors to support students’ academic success and thriving in college, focused on specific milestones in the semester. 2 educational developers from the CTLI - one focused on advisor professional development with experience as a MSU academic advisor, and one an active teaching faculty member, will lead participants through key interactions that can make a difference for instructors and advisors when these roles deliberately partner in service of student academic success and overall thriving in college. This session, while open to all MSU educators, will be specifically designed for an audience of course instructors.

This session is intended for course instructors who are interested in learning more about opportunities for partnership with academic advisors. A session on this same topic but intended for an audience of course instructors will be held April 2nd from 12:30-1:30 EST.
