SLXD: Reflecting on Your Course: Design & Delivery In-Person / Online
You might have been the teacher of a course, but when it comes to course design, you may quickly realize that you're a student too.
How does one reflect on the design and delivery of a course? This session will introduce you to various strategies, including mid-semester evaluations, ePortfolios, the Quality Matters course review system, and peer evaluations.
Upon completion of this learning experience participants will be able to:
- Examine practices that can be employed to record and track experiences of delivering courses to make effective and efficient modifications in subsequent iterations of the course.
- Reflect on their course design
- Refine and evolve their course design utilizing insights from their reflection and student feedback
This presentation is intended for all MSU educators, particularly those who are enthusiastic about enhancing the design and delivery of their courses through reflection.
