Supporting Students Together: Best Practices from Advisors and Instructors ***Walk-ins Welcome*** In-Person

This interactive workshop brings together advisors and instructors to share and explore best practices that support student success both in and beyond the classroom. Participants will exchange ideas on fostering academic skill development, promoting experiential learning, and encouraging student engagement through co-curricular opportunities. Through collaborative discussion, attendees will leave with practical strategies and new connections to enhance student support across roles.

Upon completion of this learning experience, participants will be able to:

  • identify effective strategies and best practices that promote student success through academic skill development, experiential learning, and co-curricular engagement
  • collaborate with instructors and advisors to exchange ideas and approaches for supporting students both inside and outside the classroom
  • apply new insights and techniques to enhance student engagement and strengthen cross-role partnerships in academic and advising contexts.
