MALXD Design Framework TIPS: Teaching Improvement and Practice Series *Drop-in's Welcome* Online

Teaching Improvement and Practice Series (TIPS) series is hosted on the first Friday of each month from 2-3pm. This professional development series brings together educators from across campus to share innovative approaches, effective strategies, and practical insights. Enhance your classroom techniques, elevate your curriculum development, and refine your pedagogical methods through engaging sessions and peer discussions.

This month we are so excited to welcome Dr. Brittany DillmanMAET and MALXD Graduate Certificate Program Director, in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education (and a CTLI Affiliate)! Brittany will be introducing us the MALXD Design Framework and leading this month's group in a discussion about what elements of the Framework could inform their own teaching practices.

Regardless of your title or role, if you contribute to the teaching & learning, student success, and/or outreach missions of the university, YOU are an educator and we look forward to learning with and from you. Let's transform teaching together!

Upon completion of this learning experience, participants will be able to:

  • Facilitate the exchange of innovative teaching strategies and best practices among educators
  • Enable participants to reflect on and integrate new approaches to improve student engagement and learning outcomes
  • Promote professional growth by encouraging peer-to-peer learning, collaboration, and the sharing of effective pedagogical techniques.

Please note, this month's facilitator will be joining us virtually and thus this TIPS session will be virtual only.
