Using Technology Tools to Engage Students in Extensive Reading Online
Extensive reading is an important skill that students are expected to develop in foreign language learning. However, how can instructors monitor and assess their extensive reading? In this presentation, I will showcase how I used several different technology tools (i.e., Kaltura CaptureSpace, D2L, Zoom, H5P, and Perusall) to engage my students in extensive reading activities at the beginning and intermediate levels as well as how I assessed their learning.
