3D Printing and Modeling for Everyone

3D Printing and Modeling for Everyone Online

3D printing and modelling are activities that can be applied to a wide variety of subjects, disciplines and classes from theater to physics. The goal of this demonstration is to show you how the Makerspace at MSU Libraries can help you integrate 3D modelling and 3D printing into your classes regardless of you or your students' skill levels.

In this presentation we will present examples of how we have assisted classes with learning and integrating 3D modelling into their class curriculum and the basics of 3D printing and our 3D printing services at MSU Libraries. We will then present a brief demonstration of Tinkercad, an easy to use web based application that is an on-ramp to more sophisticated CAD softwares.
