Special Collections Virtual Pop-up: The Legacy of Frankenstein (Online) Online
Mary Shelley’s famous creation is a fixture in popular culture, inspiring everything from B-list movies to Halloween costumes. At the same time, the novel poses difficult questions in medical ethics, which human beings are no closer to answering two centuries after the novel was written.
We’ll explore both sides of the Frankenstein legacy—the silly and the serious—and look for hidden connections between them!
