Blended and Hybrid Learning 101: Practical Tips In-Person / Online

Blended learning is the best of both worlds. It strategically combines online learning with traditional or face-to-face instructional practices. In this hybrid session, participants will learn about the different types of blending and the necessary elements such as design, instructional strategies, assessment plans, and resources required for successful learning outcomes. We focus on practical tips and approaches for educators new to blended and hybrid learning.

Upon completion of this learning experience, participants will be able to:

  • Understand definitions of ’blended learning’.
  • Be familiar with best practices in blended learning
  • Have at least one strategy to try in their course
  • Understand the importance of clarity, learning goals, and equitable learning experiences in blended learning
