Putting WKZO on the Map: The Voices and Industrial Landscape of ‘Western Michigan at Work’
From 1945 to 1951, local West Michigan radio station WKZO offered a rare look into the regional businesses and workplaces in the immediate post-war period. The changing economy of Michigan is featured in this unique audio collection captured in the MSU Voice Library archive. This talk will explore the collection, its breadth and importance.
