Happy 250th Birthday, Jane Austen! In-Person

Jane Austen would never believe the fuss the Michigan State University Libraries are making over her 250th birthday! Even after all these years, our favorite author is still making new fans. Some read for her wit, others read for her humor, and still others read for her enduring love stories. Some of us love her for all the reasons. Melanie McGurr, Associate Dean for Collections and Technical Services at MSU Libraries, will curate this selection of highlights from Special Collections. Discover what inspired Austen, her original works, adaptations like comic books, and materials that were inspired by her writing.
