Mindfulness for Educators Series Online
Thursdays, Oct. 23, Oct. 30, and Nov. 6 | 3 to 4:30 p.m. | Zoom
Join fellow educators in this three-session course to explore how mindfulness can foster a healthier, more compassionate learning environment. Through reflection, dialogue, and practical tools, you'll learn to integrate mindfulness into daily life and teaching practice.
Session 1 (10/23/25):
Finding Your Center- Overview of how informal mindfulness practices can support your health and wellbeing while in service to others.
Session 2 (10/30/25):
Knowing Your Options - Explore a range of trauma informed mindfulness practices you could bring into your classroom or meeting space.
Session 3 (11/06/25):
Making Your Plan - Gain clarity about how you want to incorporate mindfulness into your class in ways that align with your learning outcomes. Practice how to talk about mindfulness effectively with your peers and learners.

This event is a collaboration between the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation and MSU's University Health and Wellbeing (UHW) unit. UHW's purpose is to support the university community with health and wellbeing equitably woven throughout all aspects of Spartan life, enhancing accessibility and safety through a culturally sensitive and holistic lens.
