Muslim Journeys Campus-Community Film Discussion: Ken Burns' The Central Park Five In-Person
This is at the East Lansing Public Library.
Please join us on Thursday January 15th 7pm at the East Lansing Public Library to discuss The Central Park Five (Ken Burns, David McMahon, Sarah Burns, 2012) The film tells the story of the five black and Latino teenagers who were wrongly convicted of raping a white woman in New York City’s Central Park in 1989. Watch segments of the film and participate a discussion led by Dr. Nazita Lajevardi (MSU Department of Political Science.)
