Introduction to LiDAR In-Person
LIDAR, which stands for Light Detection and Ranging, is a remote sensing method that uses light in the form of a pulsed laser to distances, usually to the surface of the Earth. This method then generates a digital elevation model. In this workshop, we will explore a LIDAR dataset, conduct basic processing of the LiDAR data, and use a generated DEM to conduct a basic watershed model.
