Experience mixed reality of World War I in Vauquois, France!

The MSU Museum, in partnership with Virginia Tech and the MSU Digital Scholarship Lab, is presenting a Virtual Reality (VR) program exploring the tunnels of Vauquois, France, during World War I. For four years the French and German armies fought almost entirely underground at Vauquois, using mine warfare and obliterating the town. See also a 360-degree video detailing the lives of soldiers and townspeople during these devastating years of tunnel warfare. These immersive experiences are in conjunction with the exhibit "War and Speech: Propaganda, Patriotism, and Dissent in the Great War" on display at the MSU Museum through November 11, 2018.

A note about Virtual Reality: Experience available per request, subject to availability. VR can be an unsettling experience, particularly for those with claustrophobia. Please consider before engaging in the VR experience.
