Foreigners vs. Invaders In-Person
Foreign plants have been arriving since European contact in the 1490s. Some have become serious problems, some not. Join Beal Botanical Garden curator Peter Carrington as we explore the dynamics of a foreign plant and whether it might become an invasive species. We are not the only society of the world that has to deal with invasive plants; some North American plants have become invasive elsewhere.
In case of severe weather, please join us for a virtual tour of the library in the Beal Instruction Room, 3-West.
