Special Collections: Unpacking Racist Stereotypes (ONLINE) Online
Demeaning racist stereotypes have a long history in American culture. We'll examine sources that unpack such stereotypes, including David Pilgrim's book Understanding Jim Crow, and illustrate each point with examples from MSU's Popular Culture collection.
