Beal Botanical Garden Tour: Sleeping Beauty’s Arsenal In-Person
Spring ephemerals have been waiting below ground all winter for the brief season of sunlight before the trees have their leaves. Join Beal Garden curator Peter Carrington in an exploration of the toxic chemistry they use for protection from the waiting herbivores of spring. Some of them have become important medicines. Tours begin near the shed in the garden.
