21st Century Syllabi: What they are and what they could be
In this workshop participants will explore syllabi as a special genre of curricular texts, focusing on their educative value and aesthetic possibilities. Findings from contemporary research will be shared to prompt a discussion on the role of the syllabus in 21st century post-secondary classrooms. The session will conclude with a brief survey of both pragmatic and creative approaches to syllabus design.
