SUMMARY:MSU Commons Introduces KCWorks
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Knowledge Commons team recently launched the public 
 beta version of KCWorks\, the next generation of their open access 
 repository. MSU Commons users can upload and share datasets\, teaching 
 materials\, course archives\, and much more into KCWorks\, and every item 
 added receives a DOI. With substantial upgrades from the previous iteration 
 of the repository\, users have the ability to create versions of uploads\, 
 deposit a greater number of file types\, and curate collections of works. 
 \n\n \n\nAt this 1.5 hour workshop\, you’ll hear all about the launch of 
 our beta version of Works\, including our vision for the project\, the 
 development process\, tips for getting started\, and some of our 
 forthcoming community programming. Then\, users will gain hands-on 
 experience exploring the repository. Time will be provided for questions 
 and discussion.
