SUMMARY:Linguistic Justice Learning Community: Informational Session
DESCRIPTION:This is an informational session about the Linguistic Justice 
 Learning Community\, which will meet bi-weekly in Fall 2025. This 
 OFASD-sponsored learning community is co-facilitated by Amanda Hawks (The 
 Writing Center) and Bethany Meadows (Center for Teaching and Learning 
 Innovation). This session will introduce key concepts around language\, 
 identity\, and power in the classroom and offer a preview of what 
 participants can expect from the learning community for this academic 
 year\, including topics of discussion\, interdisciplinary readings\, and 
 community norms. Open to educators across all disciplines\, this 
 collaborative space will culminate by the end of the year in the creation 
 of a practical toolkit for implementing linguistic justice in diverse
