Inclusive Pedagogy Topics: Care-Based Pedagogy In-Person
This 90-minute, face-to-face workshop is designed to provide educators with the frameworks and resources needed to center care-based practices and trauma-informed pedagogy. This workshop will overview the importance of care-based pedagogy. Educators will be provided with pathways for more resources to take beyond this 90-minutes. Then, the second half of the workshop will allow educators to reflect on their own practices and create an action plan for revision to their practices for when they leave the workshop.
This event is intended for any educator at Michigan State University. It is designed for educators new to the conversation and experienced, as the work toward inclusivity is always on-going.
