In this interactive session, you will learn to effectively introduce yourself and outline your course to your students in a course introduction video. We’ll focus on the essential components of a compelling introduction video, including sharing your academic and professional background, explaining the course structure, and setting clear expectations.

Our goal is to empower you to create a welcoming and trustworthy environment through a course introduction video, enhancing student engagement and confidence in your course.

Upon completion of this learning experience participants will be able to:

  • Identify key elements of an engaging course introduction video
  • Utilize the tools and resources needed to create their own introduction videos
  • Enhance visual engagement in introduction videos

This presentation is intended for all MSU educators, particularly those who are eager to enhance student engagement through course introduction videos.
