SLXD: Enhancing Learner Interaction with Collaborative Strategies

SLXD: Enhancing Learner Interaction with Collaborative Strategies In-Person / Online

Whether by law or principle, a course should be rich in learner interactivity. Even if instructors are not familiar with RSI (Regular and Substantive Interaction) compliance, a legal federal requirement, they know that learner interaction drives engagement with course content. With Jamboard and Flipgrid having been retired, are you aware of other collaborative technologies that can be incorporated into your course design? This hands-on session will introduce you to free tools and guide you in using them effectively in your courses.

Upon completion of this learning experience, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the importance of Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI) compliance in course design.
  • Integrate free collaborative tools into courses to enhance learner engagement.
  • Design a strategy for peer-to-peer collaboration in courses.
